Palestine – Freedom Letters Campaign kicks off in the Gaza Strip

The International Commission to Support the Palestinian Rights (ICSPR) launched a national campaign called ‘Freedom Letters’ at the port of Gaza in cooperation with youth groups and teams. The campaign witnessed a broad participation by activists, national figures, academics and media people, who all gathered to deliver a message to the whole world that expresses the aspirations and hopes of young Palestinians, and shows the tragedy they endure in light of the constant external and internal violations, and the continued Israeli siege imposed on the Palestinian territories, not to mention the road closures, restricted movement, land confiscation, settlement and the Judaization of Jerusalem. The campaign encouraged individuals to write letters and throw them in the sea, where these letters contained the people’s demands for the world’s free countries to put an end to the suffocating siege and unjust occupation so they can establish a free Palestinian state.
