Somalia – Somali troops receive military training at Turkish military base

 The Turkish Special Forces are  training and providing courses for the Somali National Army at the Turkish military base, which opened in the Somali capital Mogadishu at the end of September last year, and is Turkey’s largest base outside its borders, the training intends to regenerate soldiers and applicants in the Somali army to acquire the officer badge and title, enabling them to face Al Qaeda-linked youth and establish a tough army that’s proficient in protecting the country’s borders and providing security for citizens.
