Syria – Challenges impede the rehabilitation of a bridge that connects Raqqa and Deir Al-Zour

Kabar’s Municipality in of Deir al-Zour’s western countryside, east of Syria, is seeking to repair Al-Kabar Bridge that connects Raqqa and Deir Al-Zour after it was devastated by the war against ISIS. However, the renovation process was suspended due to the lack of proper raw materials that is suitable for properly reconstructing the bridge. The members of Al-Kabar municipality appealed to the concerned international organizations and relevant local authorities to get involved and secure the necessary technical and material support for rehabilitating the bridge.
