Iraq – 60 people dead as ferry capsizes in Mosul’s Tigris River (Exclusive Footage)

A ferry that belongs to Umm Al-Rabeen Tourist Island has capsized on the Tigris river near the Iraqi city of Mosul, killing 60 people, most of them are women and children, as reported by the resources in Nineveh’s Civil Defense. The rescue team has retrieved the survivors and pulled out the bodies of the dead people. It is worth mentioning that the Water Authorities in Nineveh had warned people to be careful as rain water had been released through the Mosul dam, causing the river level to rise
