Tunisia – Parliamentary Health Committee strongly condemns the newborns’ deaths

The Parliamentary Health and Social Affairs Committee in Tunisia held a press conference on investigating the deaths of 13 newborn babies at the Rabta Hospital in Tunis. The head of the committee, Suhail Al-Alwaini, stated that the committee submitted a request to the Prime Ministry to enable them to join the investigating committee that is assigned to look into the scandal and its causes. At the same time, members of the Health Committee stressed the need to speed up the process to disclose the whole truth about the investigation at the soonest possible, since that is the least to be done for the affected families and all the Tunisian people.
