Tunisia – Symposium on the role of media in supporting the Palestinian cause against the ultimate deal

The Averroes Forum and Arab Media and Communication Network in cooperation with the Arab League Tunis organized a symposium on the geo-strategic developments and their repercussions on media and national security in capital Tunis. The symposium focused on the Palestinian cause and ultimate deal that looks to solve the Palestinian cause without considering the minimum demands of Palestinians, in addition to the normalization with Israel. Asia A’trous, Editor-in-chief of Assabah Tunisian Journal emphasized that media is the only means to regain the status of the Palestinian cause, especially that Tunisia is preparing for the Arab Summit in a few days. This summit should be one that results in more than mere statements, in order to regain the just cause, achieve justice across international and regional platforms, as well as put the law into effect against the schemes of the ultimate deal.
