Tripoli-Libya 06/03/2019
Murad Al-Taweel, the Media Relations Director at the Ministry of Labor, emphasized that it is important for business owners to register the names of their expatriate employees at the nearest security center, noting that this procedure aims at protecting both the homeland and the citizens, and it also gives resident workers permits to move freely and work legally in the country. Al-Taweel added that the Ministry of Labor is cooperating with the Passport and Nationality Department and the Illegal Immigration Agency to issue joint statistics, in order to develop a comprehensive plan to limit the number of expatriate workers in Libya, in hopes of replacing them with national labor.
