Bahrain: Bahrain-United States relations
US Secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in Bahrain to participate in the meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and discussed with his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Muhammed Al Khalifa, the bilateral relations between the two countries and ways of developing them, they also discussed the Middle East issues.
US secretary of State John Kerry has arrived in the Bahraini capital, Manama to participate in the meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and met up with his Bahraini counterpart Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Muhammed Al Khalifa, to discuss the historical bilateral relations between the two friendly countries, and confirm the permanent keenness to develop and diversify cooperation fields between them to extend to all the levels that meet up with their ambitions and strengthen their interests, which reflect positively on the security and stability of the region.
US secretary of State Johnn Kerry talked about the good relationship between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the United States of America, and about ways of cooperation to solve the Middle East conflicts.
In his turn, the Bahraini Foreign Minister Sheikh Khalid Bin Ahmed Bin Muhammed Al khalifa said that his country stresses the need for a peaceful solution to the Syrian crisis, through supporting De Mistura’s proposals, the UN envoy to Syria.
And regarding the Yemeni crisis , he pointed out the significance of a political solution made by the negotiations between the Saudi Arabian-led coalition forces and the Houthi delegation in Riyadh.
