Yemen – Citizens’ views on the Iranian-Houthi Convergence

Many citizens of Sana’a and Hajjah provinces described Iran’s relationship with Ansar Allah as friendly and decent, pointing out that Iran is an Islamic country and Islamic countries have the right to be unified. The Houthi-Iranian convergence of interests has raised a major controversy in the Arab world, since Iran has been accused of arming the Houthis in the Yemeni war that had commenced in 2015.
