Syria – Rehabilitating Panorama Park that ISIS turned into a graveyard while in control of Raqqa

The Raqqa Civil Council started rehabilitating Panorama Park, which has great importance as the entrance to Raqqa city. It was turned into a mass grave by ISIS while it was in control of Raqqa, The Initial Response Team with the Raqqa Reconstruction Committee in the Raqqa Civil Council removed all corpses in the park. Jarwan Al-Obaid, the project manager in the Public Municipality Environment and Parks Committee stated that the park has been cleaned up, rubble and dirt and been removed and holes have been filled and prepared for planting trees and flowers. In addition to that, a playground has been build for the children. All of this is in order to bring back joy to the citizens and children.
