UAE – World Conference of Human Fraternity kicks off in Abu Dhabi

World Conference of Human Fraternity kicked off in Abu Dhabi on Sunday, organized by the Muslim Council of Elders, which is headquartered in Abu Dhabi. The World Conference of Human Fraternity, which is being held between 3 – 4 February, aims to reaffirm the values of tolerance and harmony between all religions and faiths around the world. This conference is considered to be the largest and most diverse meeting in the Arab World, as it brings together more than 700 religious and intellectual leaders. The conference takes place during Pope Francis’ visit to the UAE, which will include a historic meeting between the pontiff and Dr. Ahmed Al Tayeb, Grand Imam of Al Azhar Al Sharif and Chairman of the Muslim Council of Elders.
