Libya – Demands to protect journalists in eastern and western Libya

Journalists throughout Libya demanded in a protest for concerned parties and organizations to protect them and grant them freedom of speech and freedom to impartially cover current events in their country. This happened after the journalists reporting the truth suffered from recurrent suppression because of the policy that concerned parties and authorities follow in dealing with journalists during coverage of armed operations that occur in the country every once in a while. The last suppression act was dropping the camera of journalist Mohammad Bin Khalifah.
