Tunisia – Demands to rescue Tunisian children stranded in conflict zones

Members of “Save the Tunisians Abroad” and families of children who are stranded in conflict zones, called on the Tunisian President to take urgent actions to rescue ninety-three children between the ages of 4 and 6, who are trapped in Libya and Syria. This came during a protest staged against the Tunisian authorities’ indifference and lack of concern about the children’s fate. According to statements by members of the association, more than 36 percent of Tunisian children are stranded abroad and trapped in prisons and refugee camps.
