Yemen – Irritation over relief shipments theft by the Houthis

The World Food Program (WFP) recently accused the Houthi rebels of stealing international food aid that is meant for starving people in Hudaydah and other Houthi-controlled areas. Evidence was collected by the WFP showing the Houthis diverting food shipments and manipulating the lists of aid recipients. The WFP called for these acts to be immediately stopped, while citizens showed discontent and irritation over the Houthis’ brutal deeds, which deprive large numbers of hungry people of the food on which they depend, especially as many of them depend on WFP aid.
