Syria – Officials in self-government confirm Syrian army deployment on Manbij border

Officials in the self-government confirmed that the Syrian army has deployed its troops on Manbij border to guard the border, however, the troops have not entered the city. This was a response to the official invitation of the self-government, which believes that it is the Syrian government’s duty to protect its borders against any intruder, adding that the city is still protected by Manbij Military Council.
