Iraq – Iraqis hopes for the new year

In an atmosphere of hope and optimism as the new year approaches, Iraqi citizens expressed hope that the new year will bring prosperity, peace and stability and that all displaced people will return to their liberated regions. Others stressed the need for the new year to be a year of reconstructing liberated regions, a year of enabling and aiding the citizens in rebuilding their homes that were destroyed by terrorism. In addition to that, their hopes are for the new Iraqi government to work on providing jobs for the unemployed and for all Iraqis to live in security and peace.
