Syria – Autonomous Administration discloses a “time bomb” after US forces withdrawal

The co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria Abdul Hamid Al-Mehbash disclosed the concerns of the Autonomous Administration with regards to the growing scourge of terrorism in northern Syria as a result of the US president Donald Trump’s recent decisions to withdraw the US forces from northern Syria. He explained that they have 1600 prisoners who are ISIS members, 970 of which are ISIS fighters. He pointed out that they are considered time bombs in case war breaks out in Syria and they escape prison. They are a threat to the security of all nations because they execute terrorist attacks against everyone.
