Yemen – Turkish Red Crescent launches campaign to aid Hudaydah’s displaced in Lahij

The Turkish Red Crescent launched a humanitarian campaign today to deliver 500 food baskets to Hudaydah’s displaced people in Al-Rabat camp, southern Lahj Province. The governor of Lahj, Major General Ahmed Turki, the General Coordinator of Yemen’s High Relief Committee Jamal Balfaqih, and the President of the Turkish Red Crescent, Kerem KINIK, delivered the food baskets, which contained different sorts of food supplies, to Hudaydah’s displaced in Al-Rabat camp. Ahmad Turki, the governor of Lahj, paid tribute to the Turkish Red Crescent for offering food supplies to the displaced families, which will ease their suffering. For his part, President of the Turkish Red Crescent KINIK, stressed his country’s commitment to stand by Yemen, and continue to help and support it.
