Syria – Raqqa restores the images of the locations where ISIS used to execute crimes

Civil Council of Raqqa works on renovating and beautifying Al-Sa’ah roundabout in the center of the city since it is the spot that ISIS used to carry out many field executions against civilians. A member of the Culture Committee of Civil Council of Raqqa who is in charge of monitoring Raqqa’s image restoration said that the reason of changing the shape of such locations that witnessed the crimes of ISIS is to erase the horrific image that stuck to people memory, it also aims to show the beauty of those locations, and to restore the lifestyle in Raqqa back to normal.
