Syria – Agriculture Directorate opened in Deir ez-Zor’s eastern countryside

An Agriculture Directorate has recently opened in Deir ez-Zor’s eastern countryside to fulfill the farmers’ needs and develop future strategies to resolve the difficulties they face in the area. That includes developing a plan to activate the irrigation stations in the rural areas, securing sufficient quantities of fertilizers to meet the farmers’ needs, as well as reforming the agricultural associations. The Agriculture Directorate also carries out tours to the agricultural committees in the villages to check on the farmers and develop solutions to their problems.
