Tunisia – Observers: Social and economic conditions cause low satisfaction rate with Essebsi’s performance
Tunis-Tunisia 12/10/2018
In light of the decline in the satisfaction rate with the performance of the Tunisian President, Baiji Caid Sibsi, to 18% during the month of September, observers and politicians believe that the reason behind that is closely related to the deterioration of the social and economic conditions of Tunisians, where the rate of inflation reached 80%, in addition to the rise in unemployment and debt rate and many other issues that contributed to the low satisfaction with the performance of the President and the government, while others believe that the main reason behind that is the fact that the Essibsi defended his son, the Executive Director of Nida’a Tunisa Movement, and did not take fundamental decisions that would affect the daily life of the Tunisian citizens.
