Libya – Boxing sport receives popular turnout after being banned for years

Boxing sport has become increasingly popular among the Libyan community of different age groups in the Libyan capital, Tripoli, recently, where the old trainers played an important role in stabilizing the game which has been banned for many years during the rule of former President Muammar Gaddafi. The turnout started after the opening of new clubs for boxing and the establishment of championships between sports clubs that contributed to the introduction of new faces that may represent Libya in foreign competitions in the near future.
