Iraq – The absence of Hezbollah battalions from the Iraqi political scene

After the end of the parliamentary elections in Iraq for the year 2018 and the announcement of the final results, the absence of several factions and parties on the political process was noted and political analysts attributed the withdrawal of the Iraqi Hezbollah Brigades and its absence from the elections to the Iraqi constitution of 2018, which denies the right of factions that have military factions and parties to participate in the elections, and others believe that the participation of such parties at the present time in the electoral scene will have consequences for the “jihadist” reputation on which these factions were built.
