Iraq – Bodies recovery campaign is almost complete in old Mosul areas

The bodies recovery from the old areas on the right side of the city of Mosul is near completion after the civil defense teams and the elite teams in Nineveh province recovered more than 1,200 bodies from the rubble and destroyed buildings in the old city. A number of residents of Al-Makkawi area in the old city have started to return to their homes for the purpose of repairing it after the bodies have been removed which eliminated the bad odor and many others are preparing to return to their areas as well.
