The mosque is built with ottoman style and it takes up to 2500 people with two minarets 73 m high attracting the people attention. From the inside of the mosque, it has unique art and decoration and Quran verses written with 24 carat gold.
It took 10 years to build the mosque since 5/2/1997 when the first rock was placed by the late Jalil Alkhayat who built it with his own personal money with the aid of the most famous engineers and architects from inside and outside Iraq.
