Yemen – Analysts: Al Sammad’s death is a great loss for the Houthis

After the announcement of the killing of Saleh al-Sammad, head of the Supreme Political Council of the Houthis and six of his companions in Yemen following three air raids by the Arab coalition forces in the suburb of Al-Barihi south of the city of Hodeidah last Thursday, political analysts believe that killing Al-Sammad was a great loss and a severe blow to the Houthis and that it will cause confusion in their ranks and create problems at the level of strengthening the fronts because of the impact it has on many tribes in Sana’a and other areas. They also pointed out that it indicates a weakness in their popular base, as it has become easy to reach their leaders, which has a positive impact on the Yemeni forces in progressing on various fronts.
