Iraq – “Alliance of Humanity” monitors human rights violations in Iraq

Civil society organizations in Iraq launched the “Alliance of Humanity” on Saturday, with the aim of creating a report to the Iraqi government for United Nations, which includes violations in the field of human rights from 2003 to 2017 after monitoring and documentation. The director of the Observatory for Human Rights in Iraq, Mustafa Saadoun, stated that the report will focus on files in a realistic and real way contrary to the report of the government, which contains exaggerations, considering their report is not hostile to the government, but complement to the failures of the government work. The press conference was held in Baghdad in the presence of a large number of specialists in the field of human rights.
