Iraq – Lack of services hinders the development of religious tourism

It seems that the security instability witnessed by Iraq for many years has been an obstacle to linking the sacred religious areas, which is famous for the country’s tourism movement on which most countries rely on as the cornerstone of its economy. The shrine of Sheikh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani in the capital Baghdad, is an example of these places that are intended to visitors from various Islamic countries, especially in the events related to them, despite the lack of services from markets and restaurants and many others, which weakens the process of development of this type of tourism.
