Iraq – Kite Festival kicks off in Baghdad

The Iraqi capital, Baghdad, hosted the Kite Festival in Abu Nwas Gardens with the participation of Iraqi youth, artists and athletes, to convey to the world that Iraq is a country of peace and love. The festival witnessed a variety of activities including singing, music and some sports activities, children and adults also flew their kites, which carried phrases calling for safety and peace for the whole world.
