The absence of hospitals and medical centers on the line connecting the city of Albu-Kamal in the province of Hasakah was one of the main reasons that led to the opening of the first hospital in the eastern countryside of Deir Al-Zour city, in order to provide emergency services and medical treatment for patients of the city and the countryside. The hospital also contributes its cadre of doctors, nurses, technicians and others to provide medical assistance to mine victims planted by ISIS organization before leaving the city.
