Iraq – Lack of allocations is an obstacles facing the reconstruction in Tikrit
Tikrit-Salahuddin District-Iraq 6/3/2018
The city of Tikrit in the province of Salah al-Din, like other cities in Iraq that witnessed fierce battles between ISIS and the Iraqi forces, lack services provided to citizens and lack the financial allocations to implement them, where the city suffers from poor conditions of streets and infrastructure, which increased the suffering of the citizens of the city. Officials in the province attributed the severe shortage of financial allocations to the kind of reports handled by the Reconstruction Fund, as well as the executing companies that have played a key role in stopping the work on projects and on overcoming the challenges facing the reconstruction in the city, demanding the central government and United Nations organizations to help in the reconstruction of the province.
