Iraqi security rescue the kidnapped Americans in Baghdad
The Iraqi government declared on Tuesday the rescue of the Americans kidnapped by an armed unknown group last month.
The Iraqi ministry of Interior confirmed the rescue of the 3 Americans kidnapped since in Alyousifya in South Baghdad and they were handed to the Iraqi intelligence which handed them to the American authorities in Baghdad and the American foreign affairs ministry praised the Iraqi government efforts.
Unknown armed groups kidnapped 3 American from an apartment in Aldoora in South east Baghdad min January as the 3 men worked in a small company working for “General Dynamite Corp” under contract with the US Army.
The Iraqi ministry of interior clarified that the kidnapping doesn’t have any political purposes as the news implied and the kidnapping is a crime that happened for blackmail purposes and financial benefits.
