Iraq – Baghdad Cinemas are out of business

Cinemas were widely seen in the 1960s and 1970s of the last century, which was considered a cultural development in Iraq and Baghdad in particular. Many of the movies were displayed in Baghdad in conjunction with their first show in Western capitals and international art cities. Negligence started in 1990s and continued to 2003, which then led to transforming many cinemas to popular theaters, stores or markets and the rest disappeared completely.
