Yemen – The launch of “Child friendly area” for Aden children

The Arman Foundation in the Directorate of Dar Saad in Aden Governorate organized an event entitled “Friendly Space” targeting more than 50 displaced children from conflict zones. The program included psychological support and recreation for displaced children and also created new opportunities for interaction to forget the impact of the war, and the event included singing by youth teams from Aden to convey a message that they will continue to turn grief into joy and live their lives normally. Although two years have passed since the war, psychological effects have so far been felt by children and adults, many of whom are trying to minimize their negative effects.
