Iraq – Iraqi forces advancement in the liberation battle of Tal Afar

South Tal Afar district – Nineveh province – Iraq 22/8/2017 

On Sunday morning, Iraqi forces involved in ” Tal lAfar“We are Coming” operation, have made advances toward Tal Afar district, northwest of Mosul, the last stronghold in Nineveh province, where they have taken control of a number of villages and strategic areas.The Iraqi army forces also cut off the Al-Kask road after controlling its junction with Al-Mahaliya district of Tal Afar. The villages of Tome and Magarine were also liberated, which were used as ISIS defensive line. Iraqi counter-terrorism forces liberated the villages of Tal Rahal, Jabara, Hussein Idris, Al Malla,and  Al Majeed. Military operations continue from of all axes and moving towards Tal Afar district
