Iraq – Launching military operations in the city of Tal Afar.

Tal Afar, west Mosul, Nineveh Governorate, Iraq 2017/8/21 

Military operations were launched to restore the city of Tal Afar, north-west of Iraq, the last bastions of ISIS in Nineveh province, with the participation of theJoint Iraqi Forces and the People’s Mobilization Forces,as well as the support of the International Coalition, where Iraqi forces besieged Tal Afar from all sides to control the entire city.
