Iraq – The popular mobilization forces participate in the battles of Tal Afar

As Iraqi forces begin their military operations to retake the city of Tal Afar in northwestern Iraq from the control of ISIS, the popular mobilization forces and the tribal mobilization participate with the Iraqi forces in the battles to control the city. Their presence in western Anbar is also a source of strength, which enables them to block the road in front of ISIS in western Iraq.Officials in Saraya Jihad movement of the popular mobilization pointed out that cleansing the areas of Tal Afar, western Anbar and the Hawija area comes as part of military plans and operations aimed at fighting ISIS, stressing that the security forces and the popular mobilization are determined to defeat the organization in Tal Afar and all Whereabouts in Iraq.
