Syria – Foreign combat medics join the People’s Protection Units

A number of foreign combat medics joined the ranks of the Kurdish People’s Protection Units in their fight against ISIS in northeastern Syria to defend the values and humanitarian principles facing the organization’s threat. The fighters take part in various military fronts to contribute in helping the wounded fighters and civilians in Raqqa, where these combat teams have medical expertise in treating initial injuries and providing first aid to the fighters until they are transferred to military hospitals.
