Storyline:

Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Dubai Future Foundation, announced the launch of “Dubai Metaverse Assembly”.

This event brings together elite experts from Dubai and the world to explore the future of metaverse, study its promising potential and applications, in order to employ this revolutionary technology in vital sectors in order to improve the future for humanity and quality of life for communities around the world.

The launch of this Assembly followed the launch of “Dubai Metaverse Strategy” with the aim of enhancing Dubai’s position as one of the top cities in the world that invest in promising economic opportunities, adopt and employ new metaverse technology, and develop digital infrastructure capable of optimum utilization of new global transformations and future opportunities in digital economy.

The Assembly, held by Dubai Future Foundation from 28 to 29 September 2022 at the Museum of the Future and Emirates Towers in Dubai, will host more than 300 participants including global experts, decision and policy makers, more than 40 international institutions specialized in metaverse, and elite thought pioneers.

Attendees will participate in discussions and workshops to deepen understanding of the world of metaverse, its impact on humanity, ways to humanize its potential, and the best ways to benefit from it in the strategic sectors of countries, governments and companies.
