“We are here today to organize this workshop on African-Japanese cooperation on cube satellite technology. We saw many African cubic satellites in kibbutzim derived from Japanese experience. We are listening today to presentations of various teams on their projects to discuss the next step on developing space activity.”

“Space technology is a strategic sector that has become vital in many countries, especially Africa, which attracted Japan to cooperate with African countries. Japan developed interest after it noticed Africa’s competencies. In the morning, the deputy of Japan’s space agency thanked Tunisian talents and our engineers, both inside and outside Tunisia. Tunisia is the third country after Kenya and Morris Island to win this year’s kibbutzim competition. He said Japan is ready to cooperate with us in any programs presented. All we have to do now is work on preparing Tunisian space program and our strategy. Hopefully, we will be able to develop a Tunisian space agency.”
