Storyline:
Difficult economic conditions have forced 28 year old Raihan Sharab, from Gaza, to start a small business from home, making handicrafts out of wool and recycled cardboard. Raihan, mother of two, takes advantage of certain occasions, seasons and holidays to sell her products.
With Eid al-Adha approaching, Raihan has started making figurines of sheep, butcher slaughtering sheep as Eid sacrifice, pilgrims in Kaaba, models of farms for sacrificial livestock and other figurines of antiques people use to decorate homes in preparation to welcome well-wishers for Eid.
Raihan promotes and sells her made-to-order products through social networking sites. This small business is Raihan’s livelihood and means to support her family as her husband’s income is not enough to cover food and medical expenses due to the high prices.
