Storyline

Teachers at Sardam Primary School in Sulaymaniyah’s Sharzour district are trying to deal with a funny situation where nine male and female twins in different classes are studying.  Among the nine twins are some identical twins which makes it even harder for the teachers to tell them apart. This also leads to some mistakes related to the formal assessment of some of the twin students. Moreover, some teachers mistakenly call out some of the twins with their brothers’ or sisters’ names.

 ‘’Hi I am Lia . My twin sister and I wake up in morning  together, go to school together and sleep in the same room. We come to school, sit and chat to each other. Sometimes the teachers confuse me for my sister. This leads to some mistakes in our grades’’

‘’ Hello my friends we are three twins: Arina, Lireeh and Treah. We live with our parents and study in the fifth grade at the same school. Sometimes the teachers confuse us for one another calling me Treah or Lireeh.’’

‘’ There are nine two offspring or three offspring twins in different classes here at this school. Among them are two- off spring twins and three three-offspring twins. We teachers find it really hard recognizing them and often confuse them for one another because they look identical.’’

‘’There are many twins in our school. Many problems take place during the sports class because of that.   I get confused when a twin scores a goal, thinking it was his other twin who did it.  The confusion extends to counting the points or identifying the winners.
