Storyline
Aden city organized the Famillet exhibition for furniture and showpiece, inspired by the Adeni architecture as the city has been a unique urban heritage due to the various cultures passed by.
During the exhibition, students of architecture in Aden competed to show the most beautiful furniture and architectural character of the city.

“This exhibition is the results of years of efforts made by the Aden Again Foundation to document preserve and raise awareness of the importance of the architectural character of Aden. We have been trying for years to document the architectural character and introduce it to people. This project aims to enable students of architecture to have a sufficient understanding of the architectural character of Aden. The exhibition is considered a way out for this project, in which we trained 30 students, and introduced them to the Adeni architectural character. We made field visits to introduce the architecture. Then they started the stage of artistic production to produce pieces that are distinguished by their modernity and at the same time carries the spirit and identity of Aden.”

“The exhibition has 30 participants, and this is my first exhibition. Hopefully, it will be the beginning of success for me and all the designers and architects. My piece is a library inspired by Adeni architecture. It is made up of three parts, one of them is with mirrors that reflect the beautiful Aden.
