The launch of the park spread joy in the city with the participation of thousands of people in one of the largest entertainment events in Taiz, which has been besieged by the Houthi group for nearly seven years.

(SOUNDBITE) Mahmoud Abdel Karim Al-Muraisy – Deputy Project Manager:

“We are inaugurating the commercial investment project to revive the Yemeni economy within the foundation’s strategy, and it starts from the temporary capital of Aden to implement many vital investment projects in several governorates of Hadramout, Marib, Mahra, Sayun, Al Dhale’e, and Abyan. The first glimpse of these projects is in Taiz, which is represented in the vital project that cares for people and children in Highland Park. It is an embodiment of the Yemeni economic institution slogan from which it was launched which is to construct in the time of destruction.”

(SOUNDBITE) Abdul Samad al-Qadri – Citizen:

“Here in Taiz today, the amusement park was opened braining joy for the people of Taiz; children, young people, and old women attended this opening. This proves that it was a release from a prison that Taiz was suffering from, and hopefully, investors open many parks to restore life in the city.”
