Yemen- Back-to-School Project launches in Hajjah Governorate
In an effort to boost and regulate the educational process, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre in Hayran District- Hajjah Governorate inaugurated a back-to-school project, which entailed providing the area with prefabricated portable cabins to be used as classes along with school supplies, bags, and books. In this respect, the director of the education office in Hayran district, Mohammad Awam said that the 32 classes along with the school supplies will contribute effectively in improving the quality of the educational process and will offer favorite circumstances for teaching, indicating that 4 thousand students in the district are being taught under trees and in huts along with tents.

There are neither schools in this region nor books. Accordingly, students had to study under trees and in camps or mosques. Hopefully, this project will be a quantum Leap for students, considering the school supplies it will present, including the school uniform and bags along with the portable cabins where classes will be given. I believe this project will encourage students on learning and studying

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre launched the back-to-school project to meet the region’s educational needs. The project inaugurated 32 portable cabins along with all school necessities including school uniforms and bags in Hajjah Sa’dah, and Marib.
