In the war-torn region, Houthi’s artillery shells and bullets never seem to cease amid an impenetrable siege, which divided Taiz into several regions. Six years of conflict in Yemen have taken a deadly toll on the Yemeni people that targeted even children and women. Thus, civilians live in constant fear as artillery shells target residential neighborhoods. In this respect, Human rights activist, Maher Al-Absi affirmed that Houthi militias’ crimes are imprescriptible, and they must be held accountable through national or international courts, otherwise their crimes will only grow more brutally
