Syria- United States Commission on International Religious Freedom Visits Qamishli

A US delegation headed by the chair of the United States Commission on International Religious Freedom, Nadine Menza, paid a field visit to Syria to take part in the religions and ideologies forum of Mesopotamia, which will take place in Qamishli tomorrow. The delegation discussed pressing issues in the region including the closure of the Alyaroubia border crossing and Semalka Border Crossing that connects the region with Iraqi Kurdistan. Moreover, regional threats posed by factions are among the discussed issues
