Palestine- A Sit-in to Demand Aid Disbursement in front of UN Headquarter in Gaza
Amid an invincible blockade coupled with abject poverty and a high unemployment rate, tens of bereaved families organized a sit-in near the UN headquarter demanding humanitarian and financial aid to be disbursed after one year of suspending aid disbursement. The poverty-stricken community, the elderly, and sick people solely rely on the aid provided by the UN. Therefore, incensed families demanded the UN, the European Union, and donors to be granted a life with dignity, a right that was stipulated in all International conventions.
