UAE – Dubai honors the winners of the United Nations Public Service Award

Today, Monday, the UAE hosted the United Nations Public Service Award, the most prestigious international recognition of excellence in public service, organized by the United Nations, where 17 winners from 13 countries were honored in recognition of their achievements to work under exceptional circumstances imposed by the Corona pandemic. The Minister of State for Governmental Development and Future in the UAE government, Ohood bint Khalfan Al Roumi, stated that during the last two years, public officials have been role models through adaptation and the ability to work, pointing out that governments have proven their role, as the level of trust in them increased by 11% for the first time in two decades. She added that governments spent more than $17 trillion to overcome the pandemic.
