Yemen – Aden holds an event against the killing of women for the sake of honor
Manasati30 organized an event entitled “Not An Honor” at the conclusion of the 16 Days of Anti-Violence Against Women campaign, to raise awareness on gender-based killing cases, “Killing of women for the sake of the honor”. The event featured a range of activities; such as a theatrical performance about honor crimes, as well as a paintings gallery and the announcement of #Birwaz_2 competition winners. The Head of the Manasati30 said that today’s is the conclusion of a 16-day campaign to fight violence against women in all forms, including the killing of women for the sake of honor, adding that the campaign included several activities like the production of written articles and videos, in addition to the competition.
